Leitters Cottage – Balquidder Station

Leitters Cottage self catering holiday home sits in an elevated setting with spectacular views. Located at Balquhidder Station, a small hamlet at the former stop on the Callander and Oban railway, east of Balquhidder famed as the resting place of Rob Roy McGregor.

The cottage is a 200 years old stone farm building, first renovated in 2006, then extended and fully modernised in 2010. Leitters cottage has 3 bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 guests and sits in 1.26 acres of grounds. The external porch gives access to the entrance hall with large coats cupboard. The oak door leads into the open plan lounge, diner and kitchen, with wonderful views down the glen towards Balquhidder Braes.  The kitchen incorporates hand made oak base and wall units with a large larder unit. A Belfast sink, granite worktops, incorporating breakfast bar with stools. Off the lounge is a large walk in cupboard.
